We were delighted to receive an invitation for Innovfest Unbound 2017 and a chance to give a speech and participate in a panel discussion about new materials and processes for manufacturing.
The conference hosted over 8,000 entrepreneurs, corporates and investors. This largest innovation festival in Southeast Asia was organised by the National University of Singapore and Unbound. Its main purpose was to share ideas, build partnerships, showcase the latest technology and explore Asian market opportunities.
On Thursday, May 4th, our founder Professor Antonio H. Castro Neto gave a speech about new materials and processes for manufacturing. His main topic was graphene and its benefits for automotive, airspace, high-tech and energy industry.
Additionally, we participated in a panel discussion about new manufacturing environment. This talk helped entrepreneurs and corporates to get better understanding on how 2D materials and process of fabricating flexible electronics are interrupting the manufacturing supply chain. David Ng, Pascal Delloue, Rajesh Nair, and Prof. Antonio H. Castro Neto shared insights about the latest materials and processes that enhance flexibility, sensitivity or efficiency and will disrupt the manufacturing landscape.
The event was a huge success and in glorious Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre we met thousands of technology and innovation enthusiasts and discussed the latest challenges.
